By registering for the Sleepout SG 2025 main event ("main event") organised by New Hope Community Services ("New Hope CS"), and/or registering as a fundraiser during the Sleepout SG 2025 fundraising campaign (“fundraising campaign”), you (also referenced as the "participant") are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. General Terms of the Main Event
- 1.1
For participants aged 18 and under:
- All registrants aged 18 and under must get their parent/legal guardian’s consent to participate in the main event. The parent consent form must be signed and uploaded during the online registration.
- All children aged 16 and below attending the main event must be accompanied by an adult who has also registered for the main event. New Hope CS shall not be responsible for any minors left unattended at the main event.
- Participants may be asked to produce his/her valid photo ID (NRIC, Passport, Driver’s License or Employment Pass) for inspection before being granted admission to the main event.
- 1.2
New Hope CS reserves the right to refuse admission or evict any person(s) whose conduct is disorderly or inappropriate or who poses a threat to security, or to the enjoyment of the main event by others, as determined by New Hope CS in its sole and absolute discretion, without refund or compensation.
- 1.3
New Hope CS may, at any time, at its sole and absolute discretion, postpone, cancel, interrupt or terminate the main event, including for reasons due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to inclement weather, epidemics/pandemics or precautionary or other measures to mitigate the risk of infection transmission, acts of God, acts of the enemy, decrees or restraints by governmental or public authorities, health warnings, advisories or other directives issued by any government agency, terrorism, strikes, war, riots, insurrections, civil commotion, transmission and/or communications disruptions or failure and other causes of such nature), without any liability to New Hope CS or its sponsors or partners.
- 1.4
No refunds of the registration fees shall be made, and all donations already collected by the participant will still be directed to New Hope CS.
- 1.5
By registering for the main event, each participant agrees and consents to:
- the terms of our privacy policy as amended from time to time, available at https://www.newhopecs.org.sg/pdpa-policy
- New Hope CS, and its related partners, collecting, using, disclosing and processing the participant's personal data, and sharing the participant's personal data between themselves and their partners, for managing their registration to the main event.
- the participant's image to be captured by New Hope CS and its related partners, including the photographs or audio-video or other recordings, which may be used in New Hope CS and its related partners’ publications, websites and social media.
- 1.6
The participant agrees to release and forever discharge and hold harmless New Hope CS from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from their participation in the main event.
- 1.7
New Hope CS will not be held liable for any death, personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from the participant’s participation in the main event.
2. General Terms of the Fundraising Campaign
- 2.1
New Hope CS may, in its absolute discretion, reject and remove a participant’s fundraising page from the website.
- 2.2
The participant is entirely responsible for all information or other materials uploaded or posted on the participant’s fundraising page. The participant’s fundraising page shall not contain any activity or conduct that is, unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, libellous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; is known or ought reasonably to be known by the participant to be false, inaccurate or misleading; or infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other proprietary rights of any party. New Hope CS may, in its absolute discretion and without prior notice to the participant, amend the information or other materials on the participant’s fundraising page.
- 2.3
The participant and New Hope CS shall not be deemed to be a partner or agent of the other nor shall anything herein be construed as creating a partnership, joint association, trust or collaboration and the participant agrees that it shall not represent, make any commitment or bind New Hope CS to third parties in any way.
- 2.4
The participant agrees to release and forever discharge and hold harmless New Hope CS from any and all liability, claims, and demands of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in equity, which arise or may hereafter arise from their participation in this fundraising campaign.
- 2.5
New Hope CS will not be held liable for any death, personal injury, illness, or property damage that may result from the participant’s participation in this fundraising campaign.
- 2.6
In the event of a participant’s withdrawal from the fundraising campaign, all donations collected will still be directed to NHCS.
3. Other General Terms
- 3.1
New Hope CS may change these terms and conditions from time to time. By continuing to register and/or attend any Physical Event and/or Virtual Event after any such amendment, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions as so amended.
